PINOY POMELO SALAD
FILIPINOI RECIPE ~ POMELO SALAD ~
PINOY POMELO SALAD INGREDIENTS
1 whole pink, sweet Davao
Pomelo (suha)
1/2 kilo shrimps, boiled then peeled
3 pieces hard-boiled egg, cut into wedges
1 small cucumber, seeded then cut into strips
1 stalk celery, blanched and chopped
1/2 kilo tomatoes, cut into wedges lettuce leaves
French dressing (see Tagalog Salad)
Mint leaves
PINOY POMELO SALAD PROCEDURE
- Peel the pomelo then segment into pieces.
- Place in a bowl together with the shrimps, egg, cucumber, celery, and tomatoes.
- Line a salad bowl with lettuce. Place the tossed salad ingredients.
- Prepare the dressing. Just before serving, drizzle with French dressing.
- Garnish with mint leaves.
