FILIPINO RECIPE ~ INIHAW NA ADOBONG BABOY ~
Adobo cooked twice over, 1st simmered then broiled for the added flavor of charcoal.
PINOY INIHAW NA ADOBONG BABOY INGREDIENTS
1 kilo pork liempo, trimmed
1 clove garlic, pounded
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
Peppercorns
Water
PINOY INIHAW NA ADOBONG BABOY PROCEDURE
- In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients. Put just enough water to cook the pork.
- Boil until the pork is tender and liquid has evaporated. Drain the liempo then broil in the oven or over charcoal until brown.
- Serve with the remaining adobo sauce.
