PINOY CRISPY CRABLET

FILIPINO RECIPE ~ CRISPY CRABLET ~

A new kind of pulutan or finger food. The soft-shelled crabs are fried to a crisp then dipped in a hot adn sour sawsawan.

PINOY CRISPY CRABLET INGREDIENTS

100 grams crablets
Salt and pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1-2 tsps. cornstarch
Oil for deep-frying
Hot sauce or vinegar and garlic sauce

PINOY CRISPY CRABLET PROCEDURE

  • Toss the crablets in salt, pepper, paprika, adn cornstarch. Heat the oil for frying then deep-fry the crablets until crisp and golden brown.
  • Make sure they don’t stick to one another. Serve with desired sauce.
