FILIPINO RECIPE ~ CHICKEN PORK ADOBO ~
Adobo is indisputably the country’s official dish. There is no single original recipe because every Filipino household must have at least its own special adobo recipe.
PINOY CHICKEN PORK ADOBO INGREDIENTS
1/2 kilo chicken, cut into serving pieces
1/2 kilo pork, cubed
1/3 cup vinegar
2 tbsps. crushed garlic
2-3 tbsps. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. peppercorn
1/2 cup water
PINOY CHICKEN PORK ADOBO PROCEDURE
- Combine the chicken and pork with the vinegar, garlic, bayleaf, soy sauce, peppercorn, and water.
- Boil then simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes or until almost tender.
- Simmer covered until completely tender.
