FILIPINO RECIPE ~ CHICKEN ADOBO ALA MONJA ~

Slightly sweet version of the adobo with the addition of pineapple tidbits.

PINOY CHICKEN ADOBO ALA MONJA INGREDIENTS

1 kilo whole chicken, cut into serving pieces
Salt and pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
2 pieces bay leaf
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1- tbsps atsuete oil
1 medium-size can pineapple
Tidbits, drained

PINOY CHICKEN ADOBO ALA MONJA PROCEDURE

  • Put the chicken in a saucepan with salt, pepper, garlic, bay leaf, vinegar, soy sauce, and atsuete oil.
  • Boil until chicken is tender. Add pineapple and simmer for a few more minutes.
