FOOD FOR THE GODS

FOOD FOR THE GODS INGREDIENTS:

1 cup cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
0.5 white sugar
3 pcs eggs
1.5 tsp vanilla
1 cup melted butter
2 cups pitted dates / 1 cup raisins / 1 cup prunes
1 cup chopped walnut, pili ; cashew
1 tbsp. molasses
0.25 karo syrup for glazing
9 pcs. whole walnuts for topping

FOOD FOR THE GODS PROCEDURE:

Sift together flour and baking powder. Beat eggs at high speed, add sugar gradually. Add flour alternately with butter. Add molasses, vanila, then dates. Beat at medium speed. Fold in walnuts. Greas pyrex dish or pan with butter. Pour mixture and bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees farenheit / 177 degrees °c. Glaze top with syrup and arrange walnuts for topping.
